Arcadis

Arcadis has been located in the Delftse Poort since January 2020, and we are very happy and proud of that!

All our offices are now located near an intercity station, which ensures sustainable and good accessibility for our relations and for our colleagues. The building meets our sustainability ambitions and offers high-quality facilities for meeting, meeting and sports. Not an unknown building for Arcadis, because we were involved in the construction. In addition, our architects have cleverly designed the 8th and 9th floors, which we rent, as a Smart Building.

Arcadis is an internationally renowned design and consultancy company for the natural and built environment. In partnership with our customers, we deliver exceptional and sustainable outcomes through design, consultancy, engineering and project and management services.

With 27,000 employees worldwide, we are active in infrastructure, water, the environment and buildings. Together with stakeholders, we work on feasible solutions for spatial challenges. Arcadis is involved from vision and strategy to planning and implementation. The central location of the Delftse Poort was an important reason for the location choice of our new office in Rotterdam. If we look outside, we have a direct view of the great projects that we have worked on in recent years, together with you. An example is the adjacent Rotterdam Central Station, which we are very proud of, of course.

At the same time, we also see enough challenges and opportunities to contribute to the quality of life in the city. The complexity of tasks in urban areas are great; the energy transition, new forms of mobility, climate change and increasing pressure on living and working. As we all know, Rotterdam is a forerunner when it comes to anchoring these transition tasks in pilot projects and measures. How do we maintain this lead? And how can we integrate and accelerate the tasks? We would like to exchange ideas and invite anyone interested to come and have a cup of coffee. See you!
